Coventry & Warwickshire Tang Soo Do gain another Junior Grand Champion!
The World Tang Soo Do Association recently held their National Championship at the Sports Connexion, Ryton on Dunsmore.A team of 30 students from Coventry & Warwickshire Tang Soo participated. Students ranging from Tiny Tigers (4-6yrs.) to Senior Grades (2nd Dan black belt) competed across three categories, hyungs (forms), weapons and sparring. Every student returned with medals ranging from Participation, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Young Isabella Baynes (aged 11); from the Kenilworth class was crowned Junior Gup (colour belt) Grand Champion after obtaining golds in all three categories. Isabella was up against stiff competition from students representing many clubs across Great Britain.

On Saturday 25 July 2015 at St Ives Leisure Centre, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, Spencer Hibberd, Eve Hibberd, Fintan Hanley, Joe Cooper and Jason Biggadike was officially promoted to the rank of Cho Dan (1st degree black belt). After two testings, each of four hours in length, these five students have shown their spirit, dedication and commitment to our Association. Many congratulations to you all, we look forward to your continued efforts in and for our Association!
